The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On 12/21/2018, the Enforcement Section of the Missouri Securities Division of the Office of Secretary of State submitted a petition for Order to Cease and Desist and Order to Show Cause Why Restitution, Civil Penalties, and Costs Should not be Imposed for Trade Epic and its Principal Officers. The Division is seeking for Trading Epic to pay restitution plus interest, civil penalties and investigation costs totaling more than $145,000. The Secretary of State's office also claims Trading Epic’s website falsely claims that it is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and lists an incomplete New York City address. The office notes that the company’s website does not disclose fees or commissions, or its principal owners.
