    This is one of the worst experiences I have had with a company. I tried placing an order, but got no confirmation email and the order didn't appear in my account. Three days later, I tried re-placing the order and had the same thing happen. The next morning, I got an email from ***** that both orders had shipped. I immediately contacted L'Epicerie to try to cancel one of the orders, but they refused. When the orders arrived, I discovered that half of the ordered items were missing, but they still charged me for them. Their customer service was rude and unhelpful throughout this experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding doing business with them.

    Customer placed an order online. A couple of days later placed online a totally different order. We shipped both orders and refunded one item not available at shipping time. Customer after having received ***** notifications for shipping emailed us to cancel one of his order. Orders had already been shipped and were in ***** hands. It is ***** policy orders can no longer be canceled until it has been delivered to customer. After receiving both orders customer requested to have one of his order refunded in full including both shipping. L'Epicerie cannot take responsibility in this case. Customer did not contact us before placing his second order, nor did he check his account on our website that lists all orders placed, or check his CC record to see whether or not first order had been charged. Customer then filed a claim with his bank claiming "Order received was inaccurate and not as described". His bank rejected his claim for a chargeback. Now customer is attempting to dirty our reputation with another false statement.

    L'Epicerie responded to this comment with multiple lies. They wrote: "We shipped both orders and refunded one item not available at shipping time." This is false - they **partially** refunded one item long after I received the order, not at shipping time, but they still charged the full shipping amount rather than the reduced amount that would have corresponded to the smaller order. Then they wrote: "After receiving both orders customer requested to have one of his order refunded in full including both shipping." I wrote to request a **return** of one order, but L'Epicerie refused. They wrote: "Customer did not contact us before placing his second order, nor did he check his account on our website that lists all orders placed." This is a LIE - as I told L'Epicerie multiple times, I *did* check my account on the website and no order was shown; I also checked my email and had received no confirmation of an order. L'Epicerie treated me extremely poorly as a customer. I strongly recommend that other people avoid doing business with this company.
