0 stars. Contractor has been paid $45k and work is still not done. What has been completed is sloppy and incorrect. Tile flooring laid crooked and at wrong elevation. We have a slope at the transition of tile and hardwood. It was supposed to be flush with the existing hardwood. Drywall repairs not done. Grout left on tile on backsplash and smeared on our custom cabinets. Porch railing falls off regularly, cedar post wraps uneven, scrap and debris left under porch after remodel. No steps since April to access porch since we are waiting for concrete. Concrete pour failed on Sept 5th- left with 4 inch holes and debris in front of my house for 2 months. As well as a 4ft tall pile of old concrete that was never removed after excavation. Paint splattered throughout house and not cleaned up. 2 interior doors not installed. When asked where they were- I was told he returned them( after staining them) to ******* because he felt he lost out on $3000 for failed concrete. This concrete disaster was due to his inability to perform work he signed a contract to do. A punch list was provided and instead of fixing the shoddy work he gives excuses and snarky comments. Never shows up before 10am. Rarely works over 6 hours. Rarely comes consecutive days. Has been here 5 days since Sept 5th and never a full day.

****, First, I apologize you have not had a pleasurable experience with our company. The tile flooring is not laid crooked. We double checked this on our last visit which was on 11/1/2024 (after this review). The tile is the same size against the sliding glass door, same size against the back wall by the garage door, same size at the transition strip, and the same size at the front of your cabinets. That means, the interior wall of your pantry is not straight. We assumed you would rather have those 4 other more prominent areas be straight than the one Infront of the pantry, which is off by no more than 1/4". The wrong elevation you mention at the transition, is completely flush on the opposing side of the area your referencing. Had we used 1/2" cement board instead of 1/4" we would have been higher on the other side. When we were there on 11/1/2024 we double checked this as your photos on ****** falsely represent the issue. There is roughly 1/4" slope to the one tile against the transition on that side, the tile directly after that is perfectly straight. Upon further investigation in the basement, using a level, you can see that the floor joist slope towards the existing transition, only on that side. Other side floor joist is level. As mentioned, your existing floor conditions are why this is the way it is, and you falsely keep claiming otherwise. We did repair drywall within the scope of work. However, you have been referencing drywall issues that are prior work, throughout your house, that are outside the scope of the agreement we have, to be completed. Grout left on the tile has been cleaned up, that was addressed on 11/1/2024 (after this review). It was a simple oversight that was easily rectified. Porch railing needs support pegs on the bottom, we have those and will install to resolve that issue. The scrap / debris you mention are the supplies needed for the stair railing. It is not "trash" which is why it was left for later install of the steps. Paint splatter throughout the house is false, as determined on 11/1/2024 (after this review). There were very few spots in the hallway that were cleaned up. We were scheduled to remove your concrete, and our truck had broken down on 11/1/2024, as mentioned we will return next week to complete what we couldn't complete on that day. The 4ft pile you referenced has also been removed since this review. We called you to discuss the concrete, expressing our concerns for the ability to complete this portion of the project which accounts for roughly 16% of the total project amount. You directly refused and are forcing us to complete this portion after expressing our concerns to complete this portion. You directly stated, "you're under contract to do it, we want you to do it." Further stating "Seems like your problem, you're under contract to do it". This was discussed on 9/4/2024. Regarding the timeline since September, this was also discussed with you on 9/5/2024 in which you were aware that we were unsure when exactly we would be able to return. However, since then we have managed to return and complete various portions of the project and been in communication with you as well during that time. The inside portion of the project is roughly 98% completed. Further, we have been in communication about these issues, to leave a review prior to fixing/finishing them seems unreasonable. Especially since we have been on site since this review was left. You are not stuck with any of the issues you mentioned. We are still working and have not completed your project 100%. Id assume you will update your reviews / photos / comments upon repair or finishing as that would be appropriate. Please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss further.
