I had a bathroom remodel done beginning 4/1/24. The company name is Andy on Call aka Handyman on Call. Be leary and cautious. I put a 50% deposit down to begin the work. At the end of the first week the primary worker told me I had to give him 50% of what was due. I told him I did not, called the Owner and the Owner verified I did not. I have had the 2 guys that worked on the bathroom, do some work in the past for me, I have had issues with both of them. I should have been a better judge of this. This is a very small bathroom. At the beginning of the 3rd week, not much had been done. I told the primary worker job had to be done by the end of the week. This guy told me he worked 8am-3pm, but actually started work 9:30am and usually was gone by 2pm. On top of all of this he did not put toilet in until the end of the 3rd week, the last day he was here. Some parts of bathroom, he did a mediocre job, the rest was a mess. Contract said skim the walls, that was never done, paint job horrid, and I spend 3 hours cleaning up after he left the last day. The Owner did come out and offered to send someone else out to clean up the mess. I let him know I did not want anyone from his company back. There is so much more to write on this. I have many pictures if anyone is interested. Currently, I am working with some fabulous contractors to finish up. I am also contacting the Attorney General's office. Just look at these ratings, I did not see these when I hired these people. So sad.
