            Around December 22, 2023 I purchased a package of Bob Evans glazed apples. Sometime before I called them to complain o/a January 18, 2024 I prepared the glazed apples to be eaten. After checking consuming a few forkfuls I chewed down on something hard. I pulled it from my mouth and discovered that it was an apple stem. I called Bob Evans to complain and they seemed understanding about my problem and told me that I would receive coupons. They requested that I send a picture of the apple stem and I emailed this off to them January 25, 2024 at 11:58 PM. The coupon offer was satisfactory until I received the coupons for nothing that I would purchase because I don’t like anything that the two $5.00 were offering (Bob Evans, Simply Potatoes or PEBBLES Waffles product). These coupons for those products are not acceptable since my complaint was about glazed apples.

            I just opened your mashed potatoes..love them! But this package had way too many black blobs, pieces. in the first cup!!! the biggest was 3/4 " long. Luckily I saw it as I was opening it up and took it out. I was having company and horrified that they could have found this in their potato. So I carefully went thru and took them all out....16 pieces. I had nothing else to fill in so I really needed to sift thru it!! So disappointed. Not sure I should ever get your potato again....i would hope you could take care of this in the future. ******, ******, *****

            This phenomenon is a natural result of potato aging, which can cause parts of the potato to darken. This poses no health risk to the consumer although we recognize this can adversely impact the consumers satisfaction with our products (both visibly and texturally).  To prevent such occurrences in the future, we have made changes to our manufacturing procedures.
