            I signed into a contract with jg Wentworth. I was sent a 350 dollar check as a signing bonus. The check doesn't have an issuing bank listed and also warns a few times that it must be activated. Nobody in town will touch the check. I even took to ***** *********** and they refused to open an account with it. I've given Wentworth a few days to correct with no luck. They are talking to me as if I'm being dishonest about not getting it cashed. I also offered to send it back and void it out. Just 5 minutes ago, the rep *** said he for a fact will not send another one out. It's seems like they tricked me to sign the contract.

            Scam! They take there fees(over 3k) and paid my creditors 300 dollars after 5 months. Called multiple times, always on hold or hung up on to get clarification of how and when they would settle with creditors. They settled(set up payment plan) for 2 of 9 accounts and the rest of the accounts went to charge off status. I was uninformed and take responsibility for debt accrued but JG Wentworth is a scam with predatory fees. My credit went from low 800(was current on everything but slowly going under when I called JG Wentworth) to under 500 now, 6 months later. DO NOT USE JG WENTWORTH.
