On 06/11/2022, My A/C system went out and I called ExtremeComfront Heating and Air and was told they could not come out tell Sunday 06/12/2022. A tech by the name of Howard arrived around 10:30 am. I explained to Howard what the A/C was doing, he stated it sounded like a capacitor. He checked it out and that was the problem, and he said it would cost $325.00 to replace it. I told him to go ahead at this point I don't have much of a choice since my wife was very sick and she needed the air. It only took Howard less the 10 minuets to change the part, I took this to be price gouging and on top of the $325.00 there was a trip charge of $99.00 just for showing up a total of $424.00 for only 10 minuets worth and a $12.00 part. I have contacted several other A/C company's since ExtremeComfront was out was told that the $325.00 for the part and labor was way to high and the other company's said they would have dropped the trip charge if I agreed the work. Sorry to say I'm not very happy with pricing and will be taken to social media and the nextdoor web site to express my concerns hoping no one else over charged by this company.
