I recently (april-may 2022) used Peak Roofing & Construction to repair my gutters and tune-up my roof in Frisco at XXXXX ***** St, frisco, texas XXXXX. My roof contractor (Markus ***** (XXX-XXX-XXXX) mentioned a few times that he would give me a referral fee ($150) for introducing him to my friends/family/neighbors which I did (Justice ******* XXXXX ***** St, frisco, Texas XXXXX). After Markus obtained the new contract from our neighbors and even after job completion, the contractor/Markus failed to follow-through on his referral fee despite landing a big roofing and home exterior contract from my neighbors at XXXXX beach st and has not responded in any meaningful way to my inquiries about the promised referral fee most recently. I am very disappointed and frustrated with their bait and switch sales gimmicks/scam and unethical business practice. I do not expect any company including peak roofing their agent Davis Markus to promise or offer referral fee. But if the company/peak roofing or their agent/Markus repeatedly says they are offering referral fee, I expect the company to follow-through if the conditions the Peak Roofing/Markus set are met i.e. they landed a new customer roofing contract in this case a big one. I also want to make others aware so others also don't fall for their referral fee scam. I am requesting that Peak Roofing/Markus follow through with their referral fee of $150 they dangled and promised as a means to increase and profit their own business.
