    Christian Brothers is very unsafe and left me and my family at risk for 8 MONTHS! My engine got flooded last summer and went to CB to get it replaced. They left the worn out engine mounts on, didn't check the spark plugs or the coil pack. This all would've been covered by our insurance or we would've gladly paid out of pocket, but no one at CB even mentioned it to us when we picked it up. I started having problems in recent weeks and went to another mechanic who showed me the negligence by CB and showed me how my engine has just been moving around loosely under the hood for 8 MONTHS. After I posted a review, they asked me to call them and i spoke with the manager, who said the owner wanted to talk to me, but I haven't heard anything since so i guess they didn't really care. We've been driving to work and going out of town with the faulty work by CB, they could've gotten my family and I hurt. It's all so negligent.

    Hello Jayme, we are grateful to work with someone in your family's vehicle through Adobe Auto. I do want to remind you that any approved items that we perform have to be approved through Adobe Auto first & or your personal insurance company. We never had authorization to perform any more repairs. We would have been happy to assist you further 8 months ago if you could have stopped by to explain to us what you are experiencing & we could have taken a test drive together. This communication is very common. When you experience something 8 months after any repair to give us a heads up so we can help you. You can bring the vehicle to us to verify & often in this situation we can submit a supplement to the insurance company if they find related to the flood or accident. We are here to assist you & happy to discuss at the shop further. Thank you.

    Well first, we didn't go through Adobe Auto, so that's a mistake. While I understand that you may not have had authorization to perform more repairs, there's one of two scenarios here - Either your mechanic replaced the engine and then neglected to check the coil pack or the spark plugs, or your mechanic replaced the engine and checked those things but decided not to mention it because they weren't "authorized." Both of those are highly negligent on your shop's behalf, both of those could have hurt my family. Regardless of if you have authorization to do another repair, you could have still said something to us when we picked it up. Even a quick "Just so y'all know, these engine mounts have been flooded too but you'll have to submit another claim with your insurance or pay out of pocket" would've been nice. But you can't do faulty repairs, neglect to share important information, and then expect us to want to go back and trust y'all to do the job right this time.
