      My car was thrown to Lubbock for transmission problems. Another mechanic from ******** had driven it and said the transmission was going out. It didnt even want to shift into another gears and when it did. It was at very high RPM. Lubbock looked at it along with everything else except for the transmission. Their results was that the catalytic converter is bad. Making the car run incorrectly but it didnt miss fire or anything like that . When they told me about the cat. They couldnt answer the question what about the transmission. No record of it. Tech couldnt find it in any of the notes. So the tech didnt drive it he just turn it on and said it the cat. Well the computer didnt show any codes. Not even when the dealer in ******** looked at it. So cats go out for a reason. They last more than 7 years. Unless its burning oil, bad fuel mix, anti freeze in the cat, bad o2 sensor not enough high speeds. So if that is the cause something else is going on in the motor. Again no codes. The problem is this. If I replace it , is it going to go out in a year or two? 2nd they want $3000 for something that shouldnt go out in less that 7 . 3rd they want me to pay for it and I dont think I should. Now warranty is 8/80000 miles and my car is over in miles but not years But it shouldnt even go out so soon. So has anyone had this problem with the brand of car. Hyundai Tucson 2016. I have reach out to HQ and they did pay to throw it to Lubbock since the dealer in ******** is slow and hard to get a car service. So if I could give a negative star I would. I feel that the transmission was over look so they wouldnt have to replace it since its under warranty. I cant even get a loaner car from them. writing this complaint and still on hold. Waste of time and waste of money if this company will continue to do business like this. I wouldnt even look at this brand or even the **** Oh fyi. I got this car from Lubbock brand new. 1 owner.
