Our trip that we booked through our Church with Joshua Expeditions was Cancelled due to the war in ****** and we were not refunded for the Insurance or deposit. we have made several attempt to allow Joshua Expeditions to do the proper remedy and they refuse.

********************** travelers (wife and daughter's) trip was indeed cancelled by the school on 8/2/24 due to the current situation in the ***********. ****************** cancelled his two travelers on 10/16/23, prior to the school cancelling the trip has a whole. It is stated in Joshua Expeditions cancellation policy that deposits and insurance payments are retained IF a traveler cancels. This is stated in our payment and trip policies when a traveler is completing their application for a trip. At the time a traveler cancels, Joshua Expeditions sends the traveler the necessary documents and information they will need to file a claim, with the insurance company, to receive a refund back from the insurance company. When the school cancelled the trip as a whole, Joshua Expeditions refunded the deposits and insurance payments back to all the active travelers. ****************** recently contacted Joshua Expeditions on 9/3 stating he wanted to be refunded back for the deposit and insurance for each of their travelers. Joshua Expeditions informed ****************** that we would first need to check with the insurance company to ensure the policy payment could be refunded, and also ensure a claim had not been filed with the insurance on his two traveler's behalf. We informed him we should be able to get an answer back from the insurance company within a day or two. Joshua Expeditions was able to get an answer back from the insurance company by the next day, but ****************** had already filed this review a day after contacting Joshua Expeditions. When we received notification that the insurance policy was cancelled, we then contacted ****************** by phone and email stating we would be refunding him the deposit and insurance for his two travelers. ****************** was very appreciative and thankful to Joshua Expeditions for their speedy response and help on getting this refunded back to him.
