    Where to even start with this one. We recently bought a house with Riverside Home Builders, who basically forced us to agree to use Ryan Davis as a our mortgage lender. From the start, we didn't want to use him as our lender but Riverside made it very clear that agreeing use Ryan as our lender then they would finally accept one of our offers on a house during a crazy market. At first, Ryan was kind and knowledgeable, he seemed to care and was quick to respond, which was great, I wouldn't be here now if it had ended there. My spouse and I were not happy with the workmanship of our house we were closing on so we made requests that changed our closing date. Well, that set Ryan off. He got extremely pushy and snarky, and basically told us we HAVE to close before the end of the month, even though I told him the issues we had with the quality of the home. He tried to chalk it up as "normal". I was in complete shock when his demeanor changed so drastically when I had nothing but kind interactions with him previously. Now, thinking back, he would dump pounds of knowledge on me to side track my mind, and then weasel his way to get us to do what he wanted, like leading us to buy points ("for our benefit"), so he could immediately transfer our loan to a different company without a loss on his end. Apparently, from what other loan officers I talked to about this situation, he was more than likely trying to meet a quota for the end of the month. Which makes sense as to why us changing the closing date set him off so bad. We thought we could trust him to be professional, but he was only looking out for himself. I am a disabled veteran (PTSD) and his behavior has caused me so much mental exhaustion from asking myself what I did to deserve his behavior. He never said thank you for business or congratulations on your new home.. NOTHING! There more to be said and I hesitated to make this due to fear of retaliation but I can't, my mind won't let me. No one deserves this.
