    Consumers worst nightmare! Cavender Nissan does not honor warranties!Started out okay. Was real worried about the cost because my A/C went out and I knew they weren't cheap to fix. ******, the technician, said, "Don't worry, it's covered under warranty." Whew, huge relief off my mind. 20 minutes later he came back and said it's not covered under the warranty. This is the part where I was now confused and upset. Don't tell me one thing and then change your minds and tell me a completely different thing.I was told the charge for the A/C would be $1400 plus tax and the oil change. The bill came to $1725. Taxes and an oil change don't come up to $325 extra dollars.More shady dealings were going on here. I ended up with 3 different receipts for the same work. Not 100% sure which one to pay. Again, shady dealings.I will say ****** did tell me the new A/C Condenser had a 2 year warranty. Well Nissan warranties and a dollar bill won't even get you a cup of coffee. Worthless! You know, I'm done with Nissan. I have been a very loyal and faithful customer for many years now, and I usually buy a new car every 2-3 years, and I have gotten nothing but headaches and stress from this new owner (Cavender) after they took over from ******** Nissan. I paid for the extended warranty when I bought my Pathfinder in 2020, which included oil changes, but I only got about 4 or 5 until Cavender told me my warranty was never transferred over when Cavender bought the dealership from ******** Nissan. It took about a week to get that whole mess straightened out, no more oil changes, and now I am having even more warranty issues.

    In response to the customers review, Cavender Nissan does honor service contract/warranties from all companies when they are a covered repair. This was relayed to the customer at the time of write up. It is not our custom to use the blanket statement "repairs are covered" until we diagnosis the vehicle and this is our process and we do not deviate from this process due to this very issue happening. The customer was informed that his contract will cover repairs as long they are not caused by an outside influence. Unfortunately, after diagnosing the vehicle, the customers concern was caused by an object hitting his a/c condenser and it was the decision of the contract company to decline repairs and not Cavender Nissan's decision. Therefore, the customer was responsible for the cost of the repairs. On his oil change warranty coverage, it has expired and therefore no coverage is available. The previous dealer sold him these contracts and not Cavender Nissan. Unfortunatley we were just the bearer of bad news.,
