I recently moved out of a property at **** Granby St., Norfolk, VA. The house was very well-kept and the move out inspection went very well. When time to get back my security deposit I was only sent $400 out of ****** I have since reached out to renters warehouse several times via email and phone requesting itemized receipts and they have not gotten back to me. I have since learned that the house is actually being sold and the repairs I paid for where to get the house ready for selling. I was charged for repainting rather than touchups, I was charged for mailbox replacement when the mailbox itself was broken when we moved in, I was charged **** in cleaning fees when we left the house very clean. I was also charged for services for blind installations done wrong in the company it's self were the ones who actually sent out a person to install. I was charged for a towel rack that I reached out to the company about upon moving in. As soon as a towel was put on the rack it came completely off of the wall because of a poor patch up job from the previous tenants. Rent was always paid on time and the house kept immaculate. I am a member of the military, a single mother, but most of all a very good tenant. I believe that I was unjustly charged for damages and need them to provide the requested information. Customers as myself should have some sort of protection and assurance from the company for instances like this.
