Paid $80.08 to be lied to and 0/10 would not recommend this business. If you’re a woman I’d strongly encourage you read my experience below….. I am so over mechanics taking advantage of women. And people as a whole in this brutal economy. My situation started because my Honda went into “limp mode” due to complications another mechanic was able to resolve VERY economically for me. 1. Upon knowledge of the issue, I first took it to ******* **** & they read the codes for what appeared to be the problem. 2. I googled Honda specialists, found, and called Wallace automotive who said to bring it by & leave it there. 3. The following day they proceeded to send me my first bill request for $261.49 to replace my battery because “the vehicle was completely dead and wouldn’t start” & they couldn’t diagnose the vehicle (which ******** already had done 5 minutes before I dropped it off with them….. AND the ******** report had the battery life disclosed on the papers they furnished for me) until I had a new battery in it. This bill included a $143/hour in labor charge and a half hour of labor to install a new battery. 4. I was unconvinced that was the issue, clarified with Ted that the battery was 100% DEAD, which he confirmed with his technician so I requested to pick up my vehicle and take it elsewhere that was fair & HONEST. 5. I was billed $80.08 for a “half hour of labor” for them to jump my car & a $8.58 shop fee. 6. I showed up paid the egregious $80 balance and ready to take my car to an honest shop. The dude Ted offered to have his technician come out and jump my car since it’s “completely dead,” right? And surprise surprise, it started perfectly fine on its own with ZERO assistance. And following leaving their shop my car continued to start on its own 3 times throughout the day before I got to a trustworthy shop to proceed with repair work. 7. ******** installed my battery for free in less than 5 mins. Paid $80.08 for them to lie to me and waste two days of time.
