Absolutely the worst. Newark home builders built single family homes in Belvidere Illinois. These houses are cheaply build, almost thrown together over night. They are using a company called Newlux Rentals to manage the rentals of these houses. We moved in April 1st with promises of getting a yard and back deck on the house as soon as the weather breaks. Here we are on July 9 with neither. This company takes advantage of there renters they don’t care about us. All they care about is money first. You can’t get ahold of anyone with this company regarding anything. Since we have lived here we have had multiple issues. Here are some of the issues we have had, leaking water pipes (took weeks to get fixed), AC stopped working( leaked water everywhere in the basement), ants everywhere in the house I mean everywhere, some horrible smell of rotting animal in the hall bathroom, light bulbs burning out in first couple weeks, smoke detectors going off randomly, garage door doesn’t stay up on third car stall, main garage door opens and closes when ever it wants, no deck off the back of the house with a 6 foot drop out the door, Lon sod that was promised to us, 6 foot tall weeds through out what they call the yard (ticks in the weeds). I don’t know where to stop with the quality of there houses. If you or your family/friends even enemies are looking to build/rent with these companies please do yourself a favor and run don’t become a victim of this horrible company.
