              Initial contract for Installation of 4 windows & 2 patio doors at *** *** ***** ***** ********* *** ***** was signed on 4/22/2020. Total contract amount was $18,306.00. On 4/22/2020 $9153.00 was paid, final amount is due upon completion of installation. Contract is still not complete but has been turned to collections by Renewal by Anderson. Please see attached letter for details of the dispute and attached pictures.

              This company took advantage of my 90 year old mother who has early onset dementia. On April 2, 2024 their sales representative convinced my mother to purchase a front door for the price of $8,381.00 and finance it for 10 years for a monthly payment of $97.27 totaling $11672.40. My mother only had 3 days in which to cancel the order. My mother is on a fixed income and could not afford this door. I feel that the sales rep. should have realized this and not sold her the door. The door she already had was fine and only needed a peephole ($3.85) so she could see who was outside the door without having to open the door. I have the *************** of ********* but I live in ** and my mother lives in Mt. I did not learn about the purchase until June 19, 2024. When I contacted Renewal by ******** ... they said there weas nothing they could do because the door had already been manufactured and my mother had signed a contract. I firmly believe this company committed elderly abuse.
