We brought our car in for an overheating issue, they called back and said it was the radiator and that should fix the overheating issue. We picked our car up the next day and paid $818 for a new radiator, labor and a few other parts like a new radiator cap, thermostat, etc. When we left the parking lot we realized our hood didnt open, they forgot to connect the cables that causes the hood to open. We brought it back and they told us they close soon and to come back in the morning when they open to fix it. When we got the car home we noticed it was leaking coolant still, we called back and asked they said theyd check it when they fixed the hood the next day. Next day rolls around, they fix the hood and say the leak is just from coolant overflow, saying they over filled it too much. We drove it home, made it halfway home (about a 10 minute drive) and it went straight up to overheating again. We called them and they told us to bring it back, AGAIN! When we got there they checked and came out a bit later and said that its a head gasket, and Its easier to just buy a new car. After we just put $818 into it? Theyre gonna tell me to just buy a new car? *** asked SEVERAL other mechanics, auto shops and even my coworkers who have experience in cars and they said its bull what happened and they shouldve tested the head gasket first. *** asked for a refund several times, Ill even bring the car back so they can get the parts out of it for all I care. They told us to call back the next morning when the manager is there, so we did and they told us to come in after work (3pm). We got there after work to be told he isnt there and hes at another location. We called back the next day, same exact situation. We called back today! Same. Situation. I just dont know what else to do, but I just wasted $818 and had to buy another car the next day so Im even more out of money.
