Emilys : BEWARE The owners of this store care about one thing . And its not their customers. As mother of the bride, I was excited to find my dress until I stepped foot in EMILYS I ordered 2 custom designer dresses one of which came in and was completely different than the sample I had tried on in the store. ***** tried to tell me the dress was FINE. The Designer later admitted to making the dress incorrectly. I didnt feel comfortable ordering from that particular ************** so ordered another custom designer dress. This dress came in way too small. I could not even SIT in the dress. They sent dress back to designer to be altered and the dress came back too large this time. .AND had a ripped zipper. I have to replace the zipper on a dress I havent even worn. It is now 4 weeks before my daughters wedding and my dress isnt ready. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. SHOP ELSEWHERE. The owner is a money hungry, condescending narcissist. Worst experience ever.

I did nothing except order 2 custom gowns both of which were defective. I had every right to be upset. I left message and emails and did not receive a call back or return email. ******** ignored my email ( s) The 2 bd gown was made too small, sent back and was too big along with having a ripped zipper. The sales girl had trouble getting the zipper up. My friend was there and witnessed it. I had no idea the zipper was ripped until I brought it in for alterations. The tailor noticed the zipper was ripped and had to replace it. The interior lining was still too tight. I cannot sit in the gown. Really dont know how I will be able to sit during the ceremony maybe I should stand??? After trying the gown on AGAIN after the 3RD time having it altered, we noticed the breast area not fitting right. The left side fits while the right side sticks way off my body. I cannot wear this gown. I had to find a new gown. My husband will be dropping the gown off at your store within the next 2 weeks. ***** was very rude and condescending. This is an important event in my life and I have every right to be upset. I have not slept and have had endless anxiety wondering if the gown would actually fit right up until Tuesday Oct 11th. I had to order a new gown today along with exchanging jewelry/ purse and shoes to match the new dress. I never even received an apology from ***** and ********. This is not good customer service. Quite frankly, I feel like I have been taken advantage of

I ordered a ****************************** gown from Emilys. The gown came in. They shipped the gown to my home in a mangled box. The decorative application on the gown was floppy. I called about of concern that it would not stay up. Emilys said I would have to have it steamed. I brought to a tailor and she said steam would not hold this part of the dress up. I bright the dress back to Emilys. ***** was very condescending and rude while telling me there was nothing wrong with the gown and that it was supposed to be like that. Not only was the decorative part of the dress floppy the dress was made completely different than the sample I tried on. Her daughter ******** took over from this point ( because she also thought her mother was being rude ) ******** contacted the designer. They admitted the dress wasnt made correctly. They offered to make a new dress. I opted to chose something else out because they couldnt guarantee the fan would stay up and may flop again. So I ordered another couture gown made by *******************. This dress was custom. The dress came in and was way too tight. I could not bend, sit, or walk in this gown. They said they would send it back to the designer. I paid my balance and later emailed Emilys to ask when I would get the gown back. They never responded to my email. They sent gown back to designer to alter. The dress then came back too large and Still too tight in the thigh area. I decided it was way too close to the wedding date and took the gown and drive straight to the tailor. The tailor noticed the zipper was ripped and has to be replaced. So $300 later after alterations, I still cannot wear the gown. Its very uncomfortable in the thigh area. I cannot sit comfortably. I would not be able to dance in this gown. The chest area of the gown is also not fitting properly. It does not lay on my skin. The boning protrudes past my breast. The gown is unwearable. I had to order a new gown 16 days before my daughters wedding. Had to exchange shoes and accessories to match new dress. Not to mention the stress and anxiety this process has caused me. I have not been able to sleep. I feel that I was taken advantage of. I spend nearly 4K for a dress I cannot wear and want my money back.
